We are a full-service conflict resolution and consensus-building consulting firm dedicated to helping you transform problems and rebuild relationships so that your group, organization, or community can thrive.
The name 'Shorelight Consulting' is inspired by the hymn "Let the Lower Lights Be Burning" which talks about the responsibility to keep the lower lights (fires that community members maintain along the shoreline) alight on the shore. During a storm sailors often needed the 'lower lights' as well as the lighthouse to know where the shoreline lay. We believe that we all, collectively, create the lights which mark the shoreline of safe harbor in a storm tossed conflict or situation. A lighthouse tells you that you are approaching the coast, but the shorelights tell you where the shoreline is. Our goal is to help you navigate safely home.
